Accounting Migration
Move from Excel, MYOB, Sage or another app into Xero, QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books: customers, suppliers, products, open invoices and opening balances.
For businesses outgrowing spreadsheets, or leaving MYOB, Sage or another app, that want to switch without losing track of who owes what. We bring your customers, suppliers, products and open invoices into the new software, enter the opening balances your accountant gives us, and check the totals before the old system is switched off.

What you get
Not included
- Bookkeeping, tax or GST filing — your accountant keeps the books; we set up the software and give them access
- Re-entering past years' transactions line by line (quoted if you need it)
- More than 500 records or 200 open items (quoted in your brief)
- Software subscription fees
- Setting up the new software itself (add Accounting Software Setup if it is not set up yet)
What we need from you
- Exports or admin access to your old system or spreadsheets
- The opening trial balance and cut-over date from your accountant
- Admin access to the new accounting software
We set up and connect accounting, receipts and payroll software; we are not an accounting or bookkeeping firm. Your accountant or bookkeeper keeps the books, prepares your accounts and handles tax filings. Software subscriptions are opened in your name and paid by you directly to the provider.

Accounting Migration — questions
Usually not. Most businesses only need lists, open invoices and bills, and opening balances from a cut-over date. Re-entering past years line by line is possible, and we quote it separately if your accountant needs it.
Your accountant. They give us a trial balance at the cut-over date and we enter it exactly. We do not prepare or adjust your accounts.
It depends on how much data there is and how clean it is. The starting price covers up to 500 records and 200 open items; your brief tells us the size, and we confirm a fixed price before starting.
