Short answer
Meta One has four business plans, priced per asset: Essential (US$14.99/mo in Meta's announcement), Advanced (US$49.99), Expert (US$149) and Max (US$499). It is worth it mainly if scammers impersonate your brand, or you need human support. It does not affect ad delivery.
What Meta announced on 15 September 2026
Meta's newsroom post introducing Meta One describes a subscription with plans for individuals, creators and businesses. Meta says the core experience across its apps stays free, and paid plans unlock extra tools and more AI usage. It quotes starting prices of US$2.99 a month for single products, US$7.99 for individual bundles and US$14.99 for creator and business bundles.
The business plans are detailed in Meta for Business's post Introducing Meta One plans for businesses, which says the bundles are rolling out gradually around the world. Meta's plans page adds that features, plans, availability and pricing may vary by region, app and account, and that you subscribe in the mobile app.
Meta One business plans compared
Meta says pricing is per asset, meaning per Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp Business account. The four bundles build on each other:
Essential
Entry planUS$14.99/mo per asset
- Verified badge and impersonation protection (after verification)
- Verified channel on the WhatsApp Business app
- More Meta Business Agent replies on WhatsApp
- Tools to manage your presence
Best for: Brands that get impersonated or want the badge.
Advanced
US$49.99/mo per asset
- Everything in Essential
- Schedule stories up to 30 days ahead; links in organic posts and Reels
- Exportable analytics and deeper audience insights
- Team access to Instagram without sharing the password; more linked devices
Best for: Businesses posting organically every week.
Expert / Max
ScaleUS$149 / US$499 per month per asset
- Highest feature limits
- Human account support
- Most Meta Business Agent capacity
Best for: Teams handling heavy message volumes or needing support.
Meta also lists add-on features across the plans: competitive insights comparing up to 10 public Instagram accounts, insights history beyond 90 days, content scheduling up to a year ahead for reels and posts, an Instagram link page with up to 20 links, and a custom web URL for WhatsApp Business.
Verified badge and impersonation protection
For most small businesses, this is the real reason to look at Meta One. Meta says a verified badge signals authenticity and impersonation protection proactively monitors for accounts pretending to be you; both require you to pass verification.
It helps if scammers run fake pages or fake ads using your name, a growing problem covered in our guide to fake social media ads impersonating your business. It does not remove the need to report fakes yourself, and it does nothing about lookalike websites; see lookalike domain takedowns for that.
Worth paying for if
- Fake pages or ads using your brand keep appearing
- Customers message you on WhatsApp and need to know it is really you
- You need a human at Meta to talk to (Expert or Max)
- You post organic content often and want scheduling and links
Probably skip if
- You mainly run paid ads and rarely post organically
- Nobody has tried to impersonate your business
- You would need a plan on several assets and the total is high
- You expect it to fix ad rejections or a disabled ad account
Does Meta One help your ads?
Meta's announcement describes organic tools, verification, AI messaging and support. It does not say that Meta One changes ad auction results, ad review or ad costs. Ads are still bought in Ads Manager and paid for separately, and advertisers in Singapore still need to complete Meta's advertiser verification, which is a different process from the Meta One verified badge.
| Need | Meta One helps? | What actually fixes it |
|---|---|---|
| Badge and anti-impersonation | Yes, after verification | Essential plan or higher |
| Scheduling and links in organic posts | Yes | Advanced plan or higher |
| Human support from Meta | Yes, Expert and Max only | Or a Meta Business Partner for ad issues |
| Cheaper or better-targeted ads | Not stated by Meta | Correct pixel, Conversions API and campaign set-up |
| Ad account restricted | Not stated by Meta | Account Quality appeal and policy fixes |
Our Meta business portfolio setup guide covers the free foundations that matter more for ads: ownership, admins, verification and the pixel.
How to decide in 15 minutes
Work through this before you subscribe on any asset:
List your assets
Write down each Facebook Page, Instagram account and WhatsApp Business number you use. Pricing is per asset, so this sets your total.
Check the local price in the app
Open the Meta One screen in each app on the business account and note the Singapore price and billing currency.
Count the impersonation problem
How many fake pages or scam ads using your name have customers reported in the past six months? If none, the badge is a nice-to-have.
Pick one asset and one month
Start Essential on the most-impersonated asset, usually Instagram or WhatsApp, and review after a month before adding more.
Put the subscription on a company card
Use a business card and a company-owned admin account, so the plan does not lapse when a staff member leaves.
Do it yourself or get help?
Meta says you subscribe to Meta One in the mobile app, so the sign-up itself takes minutes. Where businesses usually need help is the foundation underneath: a clean business portfolio, the right admins, verification and working conversion tracking for ads.
IT Sorted is a Singapore-based team of developers with over 10 years of experience. Meta Ads Setup (Facebook & Instagram) (S$590) sets up your business portfolio, pixel and Conversions API, and first campaigns properly. Your ad budget is paid to Meta separately, and no one can guarantee ad results.
Frequently asked questions
Meta's announcement lists four business bundles priced per asset: Essential at US$14.99 a month, Advanced at US$49.99, Expert at US$149 and Max at US$499. Meta says features, availability and pricing may vary by region and account, and Singapore dollar prices were not on its public pages as of October 2026, so check the subscription screen in your app.
Yes. Meta says the Essential plan and above include a verified badge, a verified channel on the WhatsApp Business app and impersonation protection, all pending successful verification. You need to pass Meta's identity checks before the badge shows. Higher plans keep these features and add scheduling, links, insights and support.
Meta says pricing is per asset. In practice, a business with a Facebook Page, an Instagram account and a WhatsApp Business number would look at a separate plan for each asset it wants covered. Start with the account that is most often impersonated or most used by customers, then decide whether to add the others.
Meta's announcement does not say Meta One changes ad delivery, ad review or ad prices. It covers verification, organic publishing tools, insights, AI replies on WhatsApp and support at higher tiers. Ad results still depend on your campaign set-up, tracking, creative and budget, which you manage in Ads Manager.
According to Meta for Business, access to human account support is listed in the Expert plan at US$149 a month and the Max plan at US$499 a month. Essential and Advanced do not list human support. If your main need is help with ad account problems, compare that cost with working through a Meta Business Partner.
